trash ending. love interest was just as bad as villain and never redeemed himself. basically ended without solving any of the issues main character faced. the author was majorly sick though so i understand they probably had to wrap things up to focus on their health. disappointed though.
Bhahaah how can you have -15 down votes😂💀
The ending seemed really rushed;;; and not the best imo. It can definitely be chalked up to how sick the author was, but imo it was rather unsatisfactory. Beginning is fleshed out pretty alright, but don’t expect it to be as well made in the later halves, especially within the last couple of chapters.
Love interest sort of half-redeems himself, like there’s development of him becoming a better person though it doesn’t get much chance for development. We also never get to see MC resolve his issues with any of his family, though it is implied at the very very end of the story. The character arcs of side characters seem to be quickly thrown out the window as well (to my great dismay). I would’ve been cool to see more development on that. Honestly the last three (??) chapters are just really confusing in general. It’s like a plot that was meant to span at least 10 episodes got condensed into three.
Regardless of the ending, I did have fun reading this, so if it looks interesting check it out! Don’t let me dissuade you entirely, because I can certainly say ir wasn’t all bad.
Wishing the best for the author though, I sincerely hope they recover soon!
TLDR
Pretty solid at the start, but the quality of the story begins to fall near the mid-end point where the author has begun to suffer from health concerns. Good concept, execution ended up falling apart. Give the series a go if you’re curious. Hope the author gets better soon!
