Summary

After losing his lover, Heeseon, in a series of events, Yoonseok now lives a hollow life. He was told not to hate people, but Yoonseok now lives on the strength of his hatred. A burning anger and hatred toward humanity drives him. Yoonseok, who once willingly dirtied his hands for the sake of justice, falls deeper into despair as he accepts and endures all the violence directed at him. Baek Gitae, a criminal mastermind whose business Yoonseok destroyed, is now seeking him out to kill him. However, he becomes intrigued and feels a sense of pity for Yoonseok, who passively accepts his fate. Yoonseok hopes that Gitae will be his grim reaper, but in the end, Gitae cannot bring himself to kill Yoonseok. Yoonseok cannot accept the fact that he is beginning to hope for a criminal like Gitae. He is now confused about his own identity, walking the fine line between being a police officer and a criminal.
