Summary
Jae-han, a young magistrate newly appointed to the Sangju region, encounters Yeon-ho—the despised eldest son of the village’s powerful Choi clan, who is treated as a “lowborn bastard.”
Jae-han finds himself drawn to the innocent Yeon-ho, who lives a life burdened by misery. In turn, Yeon-ho feels warmth for the first time in his life from this handsome young man who treats him with kindness, and he helplessly falls in love.
However, Jae-han is secretly harboring a plan to bring the Choi clan to ruin.
